2020 Date – TBC
We know our four-legged pooches sometimes think they’re human, so we are really excited to give man’s best friend a muddy good time too with the Australian first Muddy Paws Challenge. We did say we were the mud run for everyone – now you and your dog can dash through the dirt together!
Taking place in the afternoon, there’s no chance of you or your pooch getting out clean through our specially designed dog friendly course.
*Please note, each registration covers the cost for one human and their accompanying dog to participate in the time wave of their choice.
* All dogs must wear a lead at all times and a muzzle if required.
* Each registration covers one human. Please note, not every participant needs to have a dog in the Muddy Paws Challenge time waves. You can have a couple, family or group of friends run with one dog, or a few! Our only “rule” is that each individual person cannot have more than one dog run with them and it must be an 18+ guardian controlling the dog. Don’t have a dog at all but can’t participate in the morning? That’s fine, you can still register for the Muddy Paws Challenge and participate without a dog, so long as you are happy to be on course with lots of dogs!

We don’t want to give too much away, but our obstacles have a distinct south-west flavour. Think tractor tyres, bird netting, dams, beer kegs and of course, hay bales – expect the best of the best for family fun, without electric shocks! Plus, with our unique South West location, we can confidently say we are the muddiest mud run around.
There will be obstacles of varying difficulties and sizes, made all the more fun by a good coat of glorious mud. Obstacles will consist of a range of crawling, wading, climbing, sliding and jumping. If there are any obstacle that you don’t feel confident in completing, no worries – just walk past it to skip to the next obstacle.
Are you in it to win it? We have some epic prizes up for grabs at the South West Mudfest!
FIRST IN: Think you can slide and climb through that mud fast enough? Register for our 8:30am wave and be the first across the line to be awarded the first in male or female.
BEST DRESSED: We are also awarding prizes to the best dressed teams for the day, so get in the spirit of the event and pull on some fancy dress to be in the running for a prize.
To avoid over-crowding on the course and to provide everyone with the best experience, participants will be divided into staggered starting waves.
Waves will start in 5 or 10 minute intervals to spread competitors across the course and prevent queues at obstacles.
When registering you will be asked to select your preferred start wave time. Waves are allocated on a first in best dressed basis. If you want to change your wave time, simply log back into your Active Ticketing account to change your registration.
We take every precaution to ensure a safe and fun event for all, but like with all obstacle courses there are associated risks so we ask you to please recognise this and note that you are responsible for your own health insurance, as well as your families.
To help ensure your safety, we will be joined by an Event First Aid Team who are all there to look after any troubles on the day. We will also have a vet on site in the afternoon to look after any four-legged family member who may be having too much fun in the mud.
All participants are required to agree to our Event Policy and Terms and Conditions before taking part in the event:
