Entry Options

We’ve changed things up a bit in 2018 – we will have one action packed, family friendly, 5km+ course suitable for every family member! Run with the family in our 5km+ Mud Mayhem course, run with your dog in the 5km+ Muddy Paws Challenge or do the true fitness test and run the course twice with our Dirty Double registration. For a full description of entry options, please head to Event Info.

Event Policy & Terms and Conditions

Event management encourage all competitors to have fun, support fellow competitors and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

We also recommend that all entrants (including your dogs) take out their own private health insurance prior to the event.

This course is for all ages (we strongly recommend 9+ years for children) – we understand no one knows your child better than you, so we ask parents to please use their better judgement when registering their child  and working out whether your child is ready for their first muddy obstacle race! Please note that all children 14 years and under must run the entire course with an accompanied registered guardian and all children from ages 15 to 18 must have a parent guardian waiver signed upon registration. Event management reserves the right to deny access onto the course, without a refund, if they believe a registered child is not old or fit enough to safely participate on this course.

For more information about the event, including cancellations, transfers and extreme weather policy. By registering for the South West Mudfest, you show that you agree to our terms and conditions. Please read through our Event Policy and Terms and Conditions here.

Muddy Paws Challenge Policy

When registering for the Muddy Paws Challenge please also keep in mind the fitness and agility of your dog. Be aware of your dog at all times and put their needs first if they are showing signs of distress or discomfort.

All dogs must be on a lead at all times in the Event Village and on course.

Strictly no other types of animals (cats, ferrets, horses, etc.) are permitted to participate in the Muddy Paws Challenge.

We all need to go when we need to go… so please ensure you bring doggy bags with you and pick up any waste your pooch may leave on course – no one else wants to step in it!

All participants are required to agree to the Muddy Paws Challenge Policy when they register for this course. Please read them here.

Although we encourage families to participate in the Muddy Paws Challenge together, all dog handlers must be 18+ years.
